Hydroseeding
Hydroseeding is the process of spreading a specialized grass “slurry” evenly over finished topsoil to grow turf and prevent soil erosion. The slurry is composed of grass seed, mulch, water, fertilizer, biostimulants, and a food grade green-tinted dye simply for ease of application.
Why Hydroseed?
When it comes to seeding new turf, there are several options: sod, traditional seeding, hydroseeding, and our most premium option known as terraseeding. The advantage hydroseeding has over the other three options is it’s cost to germination ratio. While sod may be the lowest maintenance solution and terraseeding has the highest germination rate, hydroseeding is a lower cost solution with better results than traditional seeding.
